Stormwater runoffs are a silent contaminator of the main resource we depend on daily. Stormwater that flows off asphalt or concrete carry with it contaminates such as oil, antifreeze, metal particulates and dirt. Gushing down a storm sewer, this leads to stream bank erosion, and downstream flooding, as well as pollution. Permeable pavers control erosion, stabilize soil, and prevent pollutants from entering our water sources.
To help battle these problems, Eagle Bay offers several lines of permeable pavers that can help builders work with, and manage stormwater effectively. SF-Rima, Turfstone, and VS-5 Eco are all permeable pavers that have extreme permeability and can deal with stormwater efficiently. They are highly effective in providing permeation at the surface. Permeable pavers allow rainwater to pass through joints between the pavers, eventually absorbing into the ground preventing water from sitting and becoming contaminated.
SF Rima
When used correctly, our SF Rima line of permeable pavers will help control water runoff, decrease the impenetrable surface area of parking lots and driveways, refresh the aquifer, and ecologically manage roadway contaminates such as oil and antifreeze.
